What this notice covers

This page explains how your personal data is processed, from a technical standpoint, on this website published on behalf of Kültür Apart Hotel. The website is published on the KurumsalWebsite.co infrastructure.

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the data controller is Kültür Apart Hotel. Whether your data is shared with the business's own employees or business partners, and whether the business applies a shorter retention period than the periods stated on this page, depend on the business's own practices. For these matters, you may contact Kültür Apart Hotel directly.

  • A digest derived from your IP address. Your raw IP address is not recorded; this digest, generated with a secret key, is kept for abuse review.
  • An automatically calculated "unwanted message" score for your submission and the status assigned on that basis.

Automated assessment

Your submission is scored without human intervention in order to separate automated submissions. Submissions with a high score are marked as "unwanted"; in that case your message appears in a separate list in the business's panel.

Records are not deleted immediately as a result of this assessment. The business can see submissions marked as unwanted for 30 days; after this period these records are deleted.

Other records you submit through a form are anonymised 24 months after the last action on the record: your name, contact details and message are deleted; if the record is linked to a process such as a reservation, order or sample, this is done when the records of that process are anonymised. The business may also delete your records before this period. The consent you give for the newsletter is kept while your subscription lasts and, after the subscription ends, for 3 years as proof, and is then deleted.

Forms use the Cloudflare Turnstile security check to tell automated submissions apart. On a page with a form, your browser connects directly to Cloudflare; when you submit the form, the verification data is sent to Cloudflare Inc. (USA) together with your IP address in order to be verified. Your submission is recorded even if the check cannot be completed.

When you browse the website

Even if you do not fill in a form, limited measurement takes place on the website: which pages are viewed, and whether the contact links on the page (phone, WhatsApp, email, map) are clicked, are counted. No cookie is written to your browser for this measurement and no information is stored in your browser.

Information that directly identifies you, such as your name or IP address, is not stored in this measurement: your IP address, your browser information, the date and the site identifier are combined into a one-way digest. This digest changes every day and is different for each website; this means you are not recognised as the same visitor on the following day, and your visits to different websites are not linked to each other.

  • The address of the page you viewed (with query parameters in the address bar removed)
  • Which contact link you clicked
  • Your device type (desktop / mobile / tablet)
  • If you arrived via a link, the domain name of the website you came from
  • Your approximate location (city and country) as reported by the hosting provider

Where your data is kept and who can access it

Records are kept in a database located within the European Union (Germany). Encrypted backups of this database are stored in Eastern Europe (Cloudflare R2).

Kültür Apart Hotel accesses your messages through its own management panel.

In addition, authorised personnel of the KurumsalWebsite.co team, which operates the platform, may also access these records for technical support and maintenance purposes.

Map and video embeds

This website may contain map (Google Maps) or video (YouTube, Vimeo) embeds. When you view them, your browser connects directly to the relevant service; these services may process data such as your IP address and cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

The website owner may also have embedded other third-party content such as forms, calendars, music or social media posts; when you view these, your browser connects directly to the relevant service in the same way.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information about it if it has been processed; learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it has been transferred; request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately; request its erasure or destruction; request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom it has been transferred; object to an outcome against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage you suffer due to unlawful processing.

You may submit requests regarding these rights to Kültür Apart Hotel in its capacity as data controller.
